Dear students, young researchers,
We invite you to the 3rd ISPRS Summer School on

ISPRS is an international Non-government organization devoted to the development of international cooperation for the advancement of knowledge, research, development and education in the Photogrammetry, remote-sensing and spatial information science. The first summer school was held in Istanbul, Turkey, 2005. The second Student Consortium summer school was organized by the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering in University of Ljubljana last year. Basing on the successful experience, we are very honored to host the 3rd ISPRS Summer School which associated with the Chinese Doctor Academic Forum of GIS. The meeting will be held at Nanjing Normal University in the city of Nanjing, China from June 26th to July 1st, 2008.

The theme of the conference is “Acquisition, processing and representation of three-dimensional geospatial information”. In this meeting, there will be several lectures given by famous experts and scholars talking about present issues on GIS, photogrammetry and remote sensing. In order to stimulate active participation of students and young researchers, call for young author papers on presenting their research results.

Key Laboratory of Virtual Geographic Environment (Nanjing Normal University) Ministry of Education, ISPRS and other donators will support the fee generated by round-trip train tickets to Beijing, three-daily-meals and accommodation of each participant. The registration fee is 1200RMB (1000RMB each, registered before Jan 30th) covering tuition, learning materials, meals and accommodation expense, excursion and social activities.
